What is CVE-2022-43467?

An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the PQS format coord_file functionality of Open Babel. This vulnerability allows an attacker to trigger arbitrary code execution by providing a specially crafted malformed file, potentially compromising the integrity and security of the affected system.
