Summary
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in D-Link DIR-1935 routers due to insufficient validation of user input in the web management portal. Network-adjacent attackers can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted requests that bypass the existing authentication mechanism. The vulnerability arises during the handling of SetSysLogSettings requests, where the IPAddress element is improperly parsed, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of root, potentially compromising the entire system.
