What is CVE-2022-43776?
A vulnerability exists in Metabase that allows attackers to exploit the /api/geojson endpoint through the url parameter, enabling Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks. This can occur in versions earlier than 44.5, where previously implemented blacklists can be bypassed using 301 and 302 redirects. Attackers may leverage this flaw to access internal resources or cause unwanted actions, posing a significant risk to data security.
