What is CVE-2022-45199?

The Pillow image processing library prior to version 9.3.0 is susceptible to a denial of service attack via the SAMPLESPERPIXEL parameter. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted input, leading to excessive resource consumption that can crash the application. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
