What is CVE-2022-47632?

The Razer Synapse software prior to version 3.7.0830.081906 contains a vulnerability that allows local users to exploit insufficient privilege management and improper certificate validation. By manipulating the installation path and denying write access to the SYSTEM user, attackers can introduce malicious self-signed DLLs into the service directory. This situation could lead to unauthorized administrative access, enabling local users to gain elevation of privilege on Windows systems using Razer's driver installer.
