What is CVE-2022-50912?

ImpressCMS 1.4.4 features a vulnerability that permits attackers to exploit weak extension sanitization in its file upload functionality. By utilizing alternative file extensions such as .php2, .php6, .php7, .phps, and .pht, an attacker can bypass established file upload restrictions. This can lead to the execution of arbitrary PHP code on the server, posing significant security risks to the affected sites.
