What is CVE-2022-50943?

Moodle LMS 4.0 is susceptible to a cross-site scripting vulnerability that enables unauthenticated attackers to inject harmful scripts through the search parameter. By exploiting this flaw in the course/search.php file, attackers can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browsers of unsuspecting users, potentially leading to the theft of sensitive session cookies.
