What is CVE-2022-50969?

uBidAuction 2.0.1 is susceptible to a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in its backend mailingLog/manage module. This issue arises because the parameters date_created, date_from, date_to, and created_at in the filter functionality are not effectively sanitized. As a result, attackers can exploit this weakness by crafting malicious GET requests that inject harmful scripts, which would subsequently execute in the browsers of unsuspecting users.
