What is CVE-2022-51011?

PocketMine-MP, prior to version 4.2.10, is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability stemming from improper validation of the incoming chat message lengths. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending excessively large chat packets that contain numerous newline characters. This bombardment can overwhelm the server, leading to significant downtime and degrading the overall performance of the application. As a result, legitimate users may experience interruptions during gameplay, significantly affecting the user experience.
