What is CVE-2023-20013?
Multiple vulnerabilities exist in Cisco Intersight Private Virtual Appliance that could enable an authenticated, remote attacker with Administrator privileges to execute arbitrary commands with root-level access. The root cause is insufficient input validation associated with the extraction of uploaded software packages. An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities by authenticating to an affected device and uploading a specifically crafted software package, thereby gaining the ability to execute commands on the underlying operating system.
