What is CVE-2023-20562?

An insufficient validation flaw in the IOCTL input buffer of AMD uProf may enable an authenticated user to load an unsigned driver. This weakness poses a risk as it could potentially lead to arbitrary execution within the kernel, allowing for unauthorized access to system resources. Users are encouraged to review their configurations and apply necessary mitigations as recommended by AMD.
