What is CVE-2023-22422?

The F5 BIG-IP product has a vulnerability related to HTTP profile misconfiguration. Specifically, when the 'Enforce HTTP Compliance' and 'Unknown Methods: Reject' options are set on a virtual server, certain undisclosed requests may cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate unexpectedly. This could potentially disrupt traffic handling, affecting the availability and reliability of the affected services. Notably, this issue does not apply to software versions that have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS).
