What is CVE-2023-2270?

The Netskope Client Service, operating with NT\SYSTEM privileges, is susceptible to a local file write issue. This vulnerability arises due to the service's use of a relative path which allows local users to manipulate files in sensitive locations. By successfully exploiting this vulnerability, a local user can execute code under the elevated NT\SYSTEM privileges, thereby compromising the system. The flaw exists in versions prior to R100, highlighting the need for users to upgrade to secure their environments.
