What is CVE-2023-2270?

The Netskope Client Service, operating with NT\SYSTEM privileges, is susceptible to a local file write issue. This vulnerability arises due to the service's use of a relative path which allows local users to manipulate files in sensitive locations. By successfully exploiting this vulnerability, a local user can execute code under the elevated NT\SYSTEM privileges, thereby compromising the system.
