What is CVE-2023-2273?

The Rapid7 Insight Agent versions 3.2.6 and earlier are susceptible to a Directory Traversal vulnerability due to unsanitized input from command line interface (CLI) arguments. When these inputs are improperly handled, they can lead to unauthorized file writes on the system, allowing potential attackers to execute harmful actions. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 3.3.0, which includes safeguards that prevent such path traversal attempts.
