What is CVE-2023-22779?

Multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities have been identified in Aruba Networks' Access Point Management Protocol (PAPI), which operates over UDP port 8211. By sending specially crafted packets to this port, an attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system with elevated privileges. This could lead to significant security risks, including full control over affected devices.
