A remote command injection vulnerability exists in a CGI file on Western Digital My Cloud OS 5 devices, allowing an authenticated attacker to craft requests that could lead to the creation of files with redirects and the execution of larger payloads. This vulnerability affects versions of My Cloud OS 5 prior to version 5.26.300, potentially exposing users to unauthorized command execution and system compromise.
