What is CVE-2023-23783?

A vulnerability in Fortinet FortiWeb allows attackers to leverage a use of externally-controlled format string to execute unauthorized code or commands. This applies to FortiWeb versions 7.0.0 and 7.0.1, as well as all versions of 6.4. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted command arguments, potentially compromising the security of affected systems.
