What is CVE-2023-23856?

An XSS vulnerability exists in the Web Intelligence user interface of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence version 430. This issue arises due to some response calls returning JSON with an incorrect content type in the header. Consequently, custom applications that directly access the JSP of Web Intelligence DHTML may be at risk of XSS attacks. When exploited, this can lead to unauthorized actions being performed on behalf of users, potentially compromising the integrity of the application.
