What is CVE-2023-24042?

A race condition discovered in LightFTP versions up to 2.2 allows attackers to exploit the system through malformed FTP requests. This vulnerability enables path traversal attacks, where an attacker can manipulate the file context to gain unauthorized access to the file system.
