What is CVE-2023-24826?

A vulnerability in RIOT-OS, an operating system designed for IoT devices, permits attackers to send specially crafted 6LoWPAN frames. This flaw can lead to the utilization of an uninitialized object within the network stack, potentially resulting in a denial of service. Users are advised to upgrade to version 2023.04 to mitigate this issue or alternatively disable fragment forwarding as a temporary solution.
