What is CVE-2023-24836?

The SUNNET CTMS software has a significant vulnerability related to path traversal within its file uploading system. This flaw allows an authenticated remote attacker with general user privileges to exploit the uploading function, uploading and executing scripts in arbitrary directories. As a result, the attacker could perform unauthorized system operations or disrupt service, posing a serious risk to the integrity and availability of the system.
