Arbitrary File Read Vulnerability in metersphere
CVE-2023-25814
7.1HIGH
What is CVE-2023-25814?
The Metersphere continuous testing platform, prior to version 2.7.1, is susceptible to a path traversal vulnerability. This occurs when a user with the right permissions can manipulate query submissions to append a path, allowing unauthorized access to read files on the server's filesystem. This risk arises if the server process has read permissions for those files. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to version 2.7.1, as there are no known workarounds to mitigate this vulnerability.
