What is CVE-2023-27470?

The N-able Take Control Agent is vulnerable to a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition within the BASupSrvcUpdater.exe component. This vulnerability can be exploited through a pseudo-symlink located at %PROGRAMDATA%\GetSupportService_N-Central\PushUpdates, potentially leading to the deletion of arbitrary files. It affects versions up to 7.0.41.1141, with the issue resolved in version 7.0.43. Organizations using the affected versions are advised to update promptly to mitigate risks associated with this vulnerability.
