What is CVE-2023-27591?

An unauthenticated access vulnerability exists in Miniflux, a popular feed reader. This allows unauthorized users to access Prometheus metrics from any publicly reachable Miniflux instance that has the METRICS_COLLECTOR option enabled and METRICS_ALLOWED_NETWORKS set to its default value of 127.0.0.1/8. Users are encouraged to upgrade to version 2.0.43 or later, where the vulnerability is patched. As a temporary measure, disabling METRICS_COLLECTOR or using a trusted reverse-proxy is also recommended.
