What is CVE-2023-27704?

Void Tools Everything prior to version 1.4.1.1022 is vulnerable to a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attack. This vulnerability can be exploited by attackers to cause the application to hang or become unresponsive through specially crafted input, leveraging the way regular expressions are processed within the software. Users of affected versions are advised to upgrade to the latest release to mitigate potential risks associated with this vulnerability.
