What is CVE-2023-28508?
Rocket Software's UniData and UniVerse products are susceptible to a heap-based overflow vulnerability. This issue arises when specific inputs can lead to heap corruption, potentially resulting in the crashing of forked processes within the affected software. The vulnerability affects versions prior to 8.2.4 build 3003 for UniData and versions prior to 11.3.5 build 1001 and 12.2.1 build 2002 for UniVerse, posing risks to uninterrupted operation and stability.
