What is CVE-2023-2866?

A vulnerability in Advantech WebAccess version 8.4.5 allows attackers to gain unauthorized access to SCADA systems. By tricking an authenticated user into uploading a crafted .zip file, the attacker can deploy a web shell, enabling complete control over the server. This poses significant risks to operational technology and could lead to severe disruptions in automated processes.
