What is CVE-2023-28872?
A security flaw in NCP Secure Enterprise Client prior to version 13.10 permits malicious actors to execute dynamic link library (DLL) files with SYSTEM privileges. This is achieved by creating a symbolic link from the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\NcpSupport* directory. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access and control over system resources, posing significant risks to organizations that rely on this client software.
