What is CVE-2023-2909?

The EZ Sync service by ASUSTOR is prone to a directory traversal vulnerability due to insufficient validation of user input. This oversight allows an attacker to manipulate the directory structure and potentially delete files that should not be accessible. Affected versions include ADM 4.0.6.REG2, ADM 4.1.0 and below, as well as ADM 4.2.1.RGE2 and earlier.
