What is CVE-2023-30799?
MikroTik RouterOS versions before 6.49.7 and long-term releases up to 6.48.6 are susceptible to a privilege escalation vulnerability. An attacker with valid credentials can escalate their privileges from admin to super-admin via the Winbox or HTTP interface, allowing them to execute arbitrary code on the system. This poses a significant risk as it could enable unauthorized access and control over network operations.
