What is CVE-2023-31024?

The NVIDIA DGX A100 BMC has a vulnerability within its host KVM daemon that exposes the system to the risk of stack memory corruption. An attacker with the capability to send specially crafted network packets can exploit this flaw without the need for authentication. The consequences of a successful exploit may include arbitrary code execution, potential denial of service incidents, information disclosure, and data tampering, posing significant risks to the integrity and availability of affected systems.
