Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in DrayTek Vigor Routers
CVE-2023-31447
9.8CRITICAL
Summary
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in DrayTek Vigor2620 devices prior to version 3.9.8.4, as well as in all versions of Vigor2925 routers. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted request to the vulnerable user_login.cgi script, which enables them to manipulate the code segment, inject shellcode, and execute arbitrary code on the device. This presents a significant risk, potentially allowing unauthorized access and control over affected systems.
