What is CVE-2023-31476?
An arbitrary file write vulnerability has been identified in GL.iNet devices running firmware versions earlier than 3.216. This issue allows an attacker to create an empty file in almost any location within the device's filesystem, provided that the filename and path do not exceed six characters. The working directory for this attack vector is set to /www, raising concerns about unauthorized modifications and potential exploitation by malicious actors.
