What is CVE-2023-31664?

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in WSO2 API Manager prior to version 4.2.0. This issue arises from improper validation of user input in the tenantDomain parameter within the /authenticationendpoint/login.do endpoint, enabling attackers to inject and execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML. Exploiting this vulnerability may allow unauthorized actions, potentially compromising sensitive user information or leading to further attacks on affected systems.
