What is CVE-2023-32077?

Netmaker, a platform for creating networks with WireGuard, has a vulnerability that stems from hardcoded DNS key implementation. This flaw permits unauthorized users to access DNS API endpoints, potentially compromising network integrity. Users on versions below 0.17.1 or 0.18.6 are at risk. To mitigate the issue, users on version 0.17.1 should execute docker pull gravitl/netmaker:v0.17.1 followed by docker-compose up -d to switch to a fixed version. Those on versions 0.18.0 through 0.18.5 should upgrade to 0.18.6 or later. A temporary workaround for version 0.17.1 users includes pulling the latest docker image of the backend and restarting the server.
