What is CVE-2023-32079?

A Mass Assignment vulnerability has been identified in the Netmaker product, allowing non-admin users to potentially escalate their privileges to that of an admin user. This security flaw is present in versions prior to 0.17.1 and between 0.18.0 and 0.18.5. Users are advised to upgrade to version 0.17.1 or 0.18.6 or later to mitigate this risk. As a temporary workaround, users of version 0.17.1 can update their backend docker image and restart the server to secure their installations.
