What is CVE-2023-34147?

An exposed dangerous function in Trend Micro Apex One and Apex One as a Service security agents can be exploited by local attackers to escalate privileges. This vulnerability enables attackers with low-privileged code execution capabilities to write arbitrary values to specific subkeys of the Trend Micro agent, potentially compromising the security of the systems on which these products are installed.
