Extreme Networks IQ Engine prior to version 10.6r1 contains a vulnerability within the implementation of the CAPWAP protocol. This buffer overflow issue requires access to the internal management interface or subnet to exploit, allowing an attacker to potentially escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code remotely.
