What is CVE-2023-35924?

GLPI, a widely-used asset and IT management software, is subject to a SQL injection vulnerability that can be exploited through its inventory endpoint. By default, this endpoint does not require authentication, which makes it an easier target for attackers. Versions 10.0.0 through 10.0.7 are affected, while version 10.0.8 includes a security patch addressing this issue. For users unable to update immediately, it is advisable to disable native inventory as a temporary workaround.
