Summary

An arbitrary file creation vulnerability in Foxit Reader version 12.1.3.15356 arises from insufficient validation in the Javascript exportDataObject API. This security flaw can allow attackers to create files at arbitrary locations within the system. By crafting a malicious file, an attacker can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution upon user interaction. Exploitation requires that users either open the malicious file directly or visit a specially designed malicious website, particularly if a relevant browser plugin extension is enabled.
