What is CVE-2023-37265?

CasaOS, an open-source Personal Cloud system developed by IceWhaleTech, is vulnerable due to improper verification of client IP addresses, allowing unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root on affected instances. This issue has been mitigated in version 0.4.4 through enhanced IP address detection methods. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to this version or, if an immediate upgrade is not feasible, restrict access to the system to trusted users only, avoiding public exposure.
