What is CVE-2023-38404?

The XPRTLD web application within Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager prior to version 8.0.0.410 is susceptible to a file upload vulnerability. This flaw enables an authenticated attacker to upload any type of file to the server. Once uploaded, these malicious files can be executed, allowing the attacker to perform unauthorized command execution on the remote server, leading to potential further exploitation.
