What is CVE-2023-38531?

A security issue has been discovered in multiple versions of Siemens' Parasolid and Teamcenter Visualization products. The vulnerability occurs due to an out of bounds read past the end of an allocated structure when specially crafted X_T files are parsed. This flaw may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data manipulation.
