What is CVE-2023-39186?

A vulnerability in Siemens Solid Edge SE2023 allows for an out of bounds read when the application processes specially crafted DFT files. This flaw occurs when the software attempts to read beyond the allocated bounds of a data structure, potentially enabling attackers to execute unauthorized code within the context of the process. Users are advised to update to V223.0 Update 7 or later to mitigate this risk.
