What is CVE-2023-39353?

FreeRDP, a widely used free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol, has been identified with a vulnerability that causes a missing offset validation in specific fields. This flaw resides within the libfreerdp/codec/rfx.c file, particularly in tile->quantIdxY, tile->quantIdxCb, and tile->quantIdxCr, allowing for crafted input to potentially trigger an out of bounds read access.
