What is CVE-2023-40181?

The vulnerability in FreeRDP arises from an Integer-Underflow in the zgfx_decompress_segment function, which can lead to an Out-Of-Bound Read situation. This issue allows the possibility of reading memory beyond the normal limits of the processed data packets, potentially causing application crashes.
