What is CVE-2023-41627?
The O-RAN Software Community's ric-plt-lib-rmr version 4.9.0 is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows for the injection of unverified routing tables. This flaw arises from the software's failure to authenticate the source of the received routing tables. As a result, an attacker could exploit this weakness to send malicious routing data, potentially compromising network integrity and routing functionality.
