What is CVE-2023-41910?

In lldpd, prior to version 1.0.17, a vulnerability exists that can be exploited by an attacker through carefully crafted CDP PDU packets. This flaw allows a remote actor to induce the lldpd daemon to perform an out-of-bounds read on the heap memory, potentially exposing sensitive information and affecting system integrity.
