What is CVE-2023-41945?

The Jenkins Assembla Auth Plugin versions up to 1.14 exhibit a serious flaw where the system does not adequately verify permissions granted to users. As a result, users who should only have EDIT permissions can unintentionally acquire Overall/Manage and Overall/SystemRead permissions. This oversight can lead to unauthorized access and control over Jenkins configurations, posing significant security risks to the application and its data integrity.
