What is CVE-2023-42000?

Arcserve UDP, before version 9.2, is susceptible to a path traversal vulnerability within the FileHandlingServlet component. An unauthenticated remote attacker could leverage this flaw to upload files to arbitrary locations within the file system, compromising the security of the UDP agent installation. This vulnerability presents a significant risk as it allows unauthorized access to sensitive areas of the filesystem.
